Founder & Lead Author at CalcWise
Aaron Jegla is the founder of CalcWise, where he designs and builds practical financial calculators and writes educational guides focused on real-world decision-making. He is a solo developer and author who researches formulas, tests scenarios, and documents assumptions end-to-end to ensure clarity, accuracy, and transparency.
Aaron is pursuing a B.S. in Finance (Personal Financial Planning concentration) at Southern New Hampshire University, with the goal of meeting CFP certification eligibility requirements. His work emphasizes privacy-respectful tools, plain-English explanations, and math-first financial education.
He has over 7 years of hands-on experience managing personal finances and assisting family and friends with budgeting, investing decisions, mortgages, HELOCs, and consumer loans.
